Joint Personnel Arrange Sidewalks Along Jalan Fachrudin

Joint personnel of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Water Resources Sub-agency, and PPSU arranged sidewalks along Jalan Fachrudin in front of former Auri Building up to Parmin Hotel, Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Three warning letters to traders

Head of Kampung Bali Urban Village, Musa said the arrangement was carried out to restore the function of the sidewalk and maintain the beauty of the Jalan Fachrudin area which had been occupied by junk traders.

"We have conducted socialization and issued three warning letters to traders before carrying out the arrangements today," he said.

The 500-meter sidewalk arrangement was carried out by dismantling 30 vendor stalls so that they would not return to selling on public facilities.

After the traders' stalls were cleared, dozens of PPSU personnel were immediately deployed to paint and create murals along Jalan Fachrudin.

"We will also place dozens of potted plants along the sidewalk to beautify it and create a shadier and more comfortable atmosphere for passersby," he added.

Musa targets the sidewalk arrangement along Jalan Fachrudin to be completed by the end of September 2026.

"We also carry out supervision so that traders do not return to selling on the sidewalk," he admitted.

Meanwhile, resident of RW 06 Kampung Bali, Jamaludin (53), appreciated the arrangement of the sidewalks along this road so that it doesn't look dirty and chaotic.

"We strongly support this arrangement," he stated.
